Depending on the tea bags you may need to wash and rinse eyes because it may leave a stain. Tea bags are great for wrinkles (because of the caffeine), your eyes can and will absorb the moisture, also the tannins in the tea will fight puffiness.

The next step to eliminate baggy eyes is the age old cucumber slices, cucumber provides moisture to the eyes and reduce swelling and inflammation. Cucumbers contain high water content, but also antioxidants and flavonoids that reduce swelling, inflammation, and moisturize. Also, to prevent future puffiness, you can eat a low sodium diet and drink plenty of water. Water retention is the primary cause for puffiness, not the bags just the puff. Not only are cucumbers helpful, their cooling sensation just feels so nice. Use the cucumber slices for 15 minutes, then discard.

The final step to eliminating baggy eyes is really about locking in that moisture. Take an aloe leaf, break it off and collect some of the gel (or buy some aloe gel). Massage the gel into eye area for about 1-2 minutes. Then once rubbed in and dried (about 2 minutes) get a good moisturizing eye cream and massage that in for an additional 1-2 minutes. allow to dry before applying make up. Locking in the moisture will keep the eyes looking fresh and well rested even if you have not had a wink.
